Our Journey: Rising with the Tide
Every small business has its share of challenges, and at The Savory Palette Wine & Tea House, we've weathered a few of our own over the last few years. One of the biggest hurdles we are facing today is unusually low wine sales across the industry - a time when many in our field struggle to stay afloat.
But, instead of giving in, we got creative.
We leaned into what makes us special: a love for pairing flavors, a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the joy of bringing people together over a glass of wine, a celebratory tea, and fresh, delicious food. We continue to offer a rotating menu of charcuterie, cheese and small plates to elevate every sip. We introduced and welcomed guests to Afternoon Tea experiences filled with warmth and connection. And we stayed committed to our rustic bayside charm that reflects the heart of Morro Bay.
Through it all, our community kept us going. Every visit, every shared story, and every clink of a glass reminded us why we do what we do. This space is more than a wine and tea house - it's a place to slow down, connect, and savor the moment.

No need for reservations; we welcome you to enjoy open seating for wine and food - just stroll in. Afternoon Tea is available with just 24 hours notice for groups of 1-8 people. For larger gatherings, please reach out to us at least 48 hours in advance with the names of attendees and any special requests.
High tea is reserved for special evenings, or for groups or organizations. Call us for more information. Planning a private event? We have space to accommodate up to 50 adult guests. We’re happy to create a customized menu for your gathering; consider options like a taco bar or a pasta dinner. Share your vision with us, and we’ll strive to make it happen. We can even arrange for live music (at an additional cost)! Our unique venue boasts ample indoor seating and a pet-friendly outdoor patio, both offering stunning views of Estero Bay, Morro Rock, and breathtaking sunsets.
